I climbed this classic traverse solo in the end of July-2004. The weather was perfect, but the conditions were rather difficult because of all the treacherous snow and ice on top of the ridge. The traverse is normally climbed in two days, but I completed it in one long day.

Urdanostindane

After a strenuous 24 hours non-stop drive from Switzerland to Norway, followed by a rest day in Oslo, I went to Jotunheimen aiming to climb Urdanostinden (2157m). During the day I ended up climbing seven summits in one day, far more than my initial plan.

The day after I ascended Ringstindane, I was very lucky to have one more beautiful skiing day in Hurrungane (Jotunheimen). It's very rare that the sun shines from a cloudless sky several days in a row in these western mountains of Norway.

Torfinnstindane

After 2-3 weeks of higher altitudes in the Alps, I had a lot of energy to consume in the less high mountains in Norway. Me and my brother decided to traverse the 3 summits of Torfinnstindane on his 30th birthday. We also brought some liquids to celebrate later in the evening.....

Smørstabbtind to Loftet

It took me more than 10 hours to complete all the six summits on the ridge from Store Smørstabbtind (2.208 m) to Loftet (2.170 m) in Jotunheimen. Been there done that.....

Falketind and Stølnostind

Falketind (2.067 m) is probably one of the five most beautiful peaks in Norway. It's a real pleasure to walk into the wild and isolated valley between Falketind and Hjelledalstind. Traversing the ridge between Falketind and Stølnostind is a very interesting scramble.
